H2oTech began with a clear mission to improve the management of water for their clientele.
Founded in 2006 by Jeff Davids, H2oTech was created to be a partner for those who rely on water daily but lack the time, training, or experience necessary to (1) capture accurate hydrologic data, (2) interpret the stories in the data, and most importantly (3) make informed management decisions based the new information gleaned. Based in Chico, CA, the H2oTech Team is a diverse group of industry leaders deeply involved in each of the company’s endeavors to ensure the cost effective and timely completion of each project. “Water is our business,” says Jeff. “It’s the lifeblood of everything; H2oTech exists to improve management of the world’s most precious resource.”
Among others, the H2oTech team has consulted for several large irrigation districts in the Western US, state and federal resource agencies in California, water Boards in the Netherlands, renewable energy startups in Thailand, and water resource managers in South Asia.
Jeff is founder and president of H2oTech, a PhD researcher at Delft University of Technology, and a water resources engineer for Davids Engineering.
